Walmart

In an effort to improve their corporate communications strategy, Walmart turned to RAIN to manage their blog strategy and provide insights on how to better engage their readers.

Each month we reviewed the blog’s content, assigning each post a score based on web traffic, click-through analytics, social media engagement and reader comments. This score helped us normalize content performance across months and provide guidance on what topics and post themes were resonating with the audience.

After evaluating each month’s set of posts, we provided insights on top and bottom performing content to inform future post development and offered recommendations on promotion and engagement strategy. 

Results

Insights directly informed topic selection and blog strategy. Unique visitors to blog increased 3x.


Created new process for content evaluation internally at Walmart.
